¡Hola amigos! I was born in the city of Guanajuato, Mexico. After studying tourism administration and economics at the university, I received a scholarship to study Japanese at the University of Soka in Tokyo, Japan, there I began teaching Spanish as a second language. It became my passion. For the next 23 years I taught my native tongue to individuals and prepared Spanish teachers in schools all over the world, Japan, Turkey, the United States, and Mexico to name a few. I am very excited about coming back to where I grew up and am excited about sharing my love and my knowledge of this wonderful city.

Hello everyone! My life began in Cuernavaca in the State of Morelos. While studying toward a double major in Spanish Education and Latin American History, I began teaching Spanish as a foreign Language. That was over twenty years ago. I pride myself on my ability to utilize new and distinctive teaching methods to facilitate learning. I have extensive experience teaching all levels of Spanish, and am also experienced in preparing students for the DELE and SIELE exam. Right now I work both here in Guanajuato and in Puerto Vallarta being in charge of training our instructors and Spanish teachers from all over the world. I also teach the Medical Terminology program. ¡Siempre son bienvenidos a mi clase!.

¡Hola, soy Valeria! I was born and raised in Michoacán, where I studied Hispanic Literature and Language at Universidad Michoacana (UMSNH). Since I was a child, I’ve been fascinated by the history of Spanish, its rules, and all the grammar that surrounds it. In 2024, I moved to the city of Guanajuato, and that’s when I began sharing my love for Spanish with students from all over the world. Teaching Spanish as a second language has allowed me not only to accompany others on their learning journey, but also to share the beauty and diversity of Mexican culture. It’s truly something I deeply enjoy ¡Hope to see you soon!.
